A young girl accidently causes her father to die in a car crash and starts wetting the bed. Her mom who was jealous of her close relationship with her dad, she diapers her and treats her like a baby as punishment for wetting the bed until one day it's too much and the girl shoots her mother to make it all stop.
This movie is about a young man who is just going into his teens but hasn't yet stopped wetting the bed. He does his best to keep his wetting problem secret. While his dad is supportive and encourages him to get dry his mother is quite cruel about it. His mom makes him sleep in a toddlers bed with the thinking is that her son isn't grown up enough to have a "real bed" until he stops wetting. So afraid of what his friends will think seeing him sleeping in a toddler bed, he never brings over friends.
And before school each morning he uses his lunch money to take his gym bag of wet sheets to be washed before rushing to school. I won't ruin the ending, but I can say I liked seeing the mom get some of what she dished out and tell her off. I hope you enjoy the movie. I saw a lot of my own struggles in the movie so I am sure many here can relate to what happens in the movie. Enjoy.
