Question Asked By: Etienne
Age: 12

Q:

First of all sorry I ask so many questions and I want to sneak some baby toy without my parents knowing. How do I do this? Also I want to wet the bed but can't, can you help me please?

A:

Dear Etienne,

First of all you do not ask too many questions. I love to hear from you so don't worry about that. To get toys in the house is easy, you can hide them in pockets or in your backpack. If it is a big item, hide it under a window you can get to. Go up to that window and lower a basket down to the ground with the cord/rope still up in the window/room. Go down and put item in the basket and then go back upstairs and pull up the rope/cord and you have your toy in the house. If you want to wet the bed, when you get the urge to go don't go to the bathroom just let go. I hope this helps.

Question Asked By: Jenna
Age: 23

Q:

I live with my boyfriend and we are both AB's but we were both wondering as a mom what is the best technique for changing a diaper on both boys and girls for both pee and poop?

A:

Dear Jenna,

There are no real secrets. You need to be sure to clean thoroughly. So be sure to get into every crevice and fold. Wash well and powder or cream as desired. Happy diapering!

Question Asked By: Mary
Age: 36

Q:

My name is Mary and I live with my boyfriend, he's 26. One day I came home early and accidentally caught him wearing diapers and rubber pants. He confessed that he's loved them for as long as he can remember. His mom always diapered him at night and when shopping or car trips. I never married or had children of my own but I did have 2 younger brothers so changing diapers is no big deal for me. Should I put Glenn back in diapers? Should we take it further I think that's what he want's but he's afraid to ask. If we do get into this adult baby thing where do we start and what would I need to get besides more diapers? Please e-mail me with your advice I don't think he want's to wait. Thanks so much Mary. One other note he's only 5'4" and 135 lbs. I'm much bigger and work out weekly so I think I can handle him.

A:

Dear Mary,

I must give you kudos for being an open-minded person. You would be surprised how many people wouldn't be supportive of Glenn. The two of you should talk and discuss where you want to go with this. It would be an added benefit to include his ABism in your relationship. You seem to be willing to change him- ask if this is something he would like. By sharing the two of you could become closer. As far as supplies- the usual diaper changing items: diapers, wipes, powder, barrier cream (balmex, desitin etc.) Anything else you can get as needed. I wish you both well.

Question Asked By: Diapergal6
Age: 25

A:

My girlfriend knows I like to wear diapers and she didn't take it as well as I hoped. She is making me choose between them and her. Right now she thinks I don't wear them anymore, but I can't stop wearing them so I have continued to hide them from her and I hate doing it but I don't want to give them up and I also don't want to lose her cause I do love her. What should I do?

A:

Dear Diapergal6,

You need to sit down and have a serious talk. Ask her what her main objection is. What about it all bothers her. Let her know how you feel about it. Tell her you are hurting no one and feel a need for them. If the two of you can discuss this, you just might be able to resolve the conflict. I will say this- if she still continues to make you choose, think on this. If she really cared and loved you, why would she be forcing you to give up something you want only because she doesn't understand it? Just something to think about. I wish you well. Hope all works out.

Question Asked By: Embarrassed
Age: 36

Q:

Dear Mommy,

I'm ready for bed with plastic sheets under my sheets, and a disposable diaper around my posterior. I never outgrew potty accidents during the night. I both wet, and mess while I sleep. I'm too old to be having accidents like this, but can't escape baby like diapers. My diapers have no wetness indicator, and cute baby print at the top. I guess I'm just a big baby, feel more so that a baby diaper commercial just played on T.V, and here I am in a diaper. In any case how tight should a diaper be?  When mommies put on a diaper how do they know how tight to make it? I usually end up refastening the tapes, but I never know if its too snug.  I do this mainly so I can avoid leakage. Well off to bed for me. TY.

A:

Dear Embarrassed,

As a mom we also try to avoid leakage problems with the babies diaper. I know that when diapering my children I did make it snug. Not so tight as to cut off circulation but pretty snug. You try to get the legs as tight as you can also, if your diaper has gathers- great. If not try your best to get it snug, the legs are the one spot to leak the most. Well I wish you a nighty-night and sleep tight till next time.

Question Asked By: Chris S.
Age:  23

Q:

I recently moved to a new city, started a new college, and started a new job (that was this past summer, in June). Lately, over the past month, I'd guess, I started using diapers more frequently

However, lately (the past week or so), usually just when I am sitting down (but also sometimes when I am standing), I get the sensation like I am wetting (but I never am). When I do try to relieve myself, only a small trickle comes out, and afterwards, it still feels like I have to go. I have started wearing diapers during the day as well as at night, just in case an accident happens.

I don't want to have to wear diapers during the day, since I go to college, and it is embarrassing to have to wear diapers during the day.

Is this a sign of being incontinent (which I *don't* want)? Is this a urinary tract infection? Is it a kidney infection? Or is it something else? If it's a tract infection, a kidney infection, or becoming incontinent, are there "natural" remedies available? (I don't have health insurance, and I don't have very much in savings, so going to the doctor is not an option)

A:

Dear Chris,

My first thought is to see a doctor. Is there a free clinic or low-cost alternative in your city? You should check that out. some are on a sliding fee scale and charge according to your salary and lifestyle. Secondly, my second thought is perhaps all of this is due to stress. Stress can do a lot of ugly things to healthy bodies- including all the things you listed. You have taken on quite a lot in the past year and perhaps stress has your body telling you to slow down and take a breath. So breath in and out slowly a few times and check on the clinics in your area. It is a good idea to have somewhere to go if you are ill. Good luck.

Question Asked By: John
Age: 13

Q:

How can I do this with out my mom finding out?

A:

Dear John,

That is a tough one. Does your mom work regular hours? Perhaps at a time when you know she won't be home you could try wearing. Is there somewhere private you could go where no one bothers you? Until you are 18 your options are really limited. Those are just two suggestions- put on your thinking cap and see if you can come up with some other places that are private. Good luck.

Question Asked By: Nervous
Age: 35

Q:

I have been curious about wearing diapers my whole life and off and on. Have been wearing them when I could get away with it and now I finally admitted it to my mom my need for diapers since I have been sick this year. I've lost a majority of my bladder control and now looks like I am going to be in diapers. But here's my question or problem persay, I am a 66 in hip and finding reasonably priced and sized diapers is hard. No local stores carry them. Who is least expensive to order from that you are aware of?

A:

Dear Nervous,

It can be difficult to find diapers when you are 'fluffy' as a certain comedian put it. I did find some websites you could order from. First is Unique briefs which I believe go to a 67" waist. The link is http://www.mediprime.com/products.php?cname=BRIEFS  Another you could try is Duraline- there's goes up to a 84" waist. That link is http://www.dmponline.com/catalog/item.asp?id=192&cid=84 The third is Northshore Care supply and they have Tena, Attends, Tranquility and Abena, all good products in the larger sizes. Their link is http://www.northshorecare.com/fittedsob1.html  I hope this info helps you. At least ordering them you don't have to waste time driving all over town trying to find them. Good luck.

Q:

Dear mommy I got a question for you. I hope you can help me? I got an allergic reaction to adult diapers. What can I tell my pastor. He buys me diapers some time. I asked him to get me the baby pampers size 6. What can I tell him, I told him doctor said to wear baby ones. Help me desperate, babyfloyd

A:

Dear Babyfloyd,

Just be honest with him. Tell him that you need the baby diapers and that you are allergic to the adult ones. He'll understand. Have faith- no pun intended. Being a man of faith he will understand. And I (think it's nice that he helps you out occasionally. That's really nice. Take care.

Question Asked By: Diaperboy
Age: 14

Q:

I always loved diapers and the way they feel. But now I got my 1st kiss, steady gf, and more friends. Now I don't have an urge to wear diapers anymore why is this. TY

A:

Dear Diaperboy,

The simple fact of it is the diapers were a way of you getting the feeling of love and acceptance that you had as a baby. You have now found love and acceptance somewhere else and the diapers are not such a focus anymore. You might or might not still need to use them, but either way that is okay. You know they will always be there if needed. I am happy that you have someone special now in your life. good luck.

Question Asked By: Brett
Age: 14

Q:

Hi mommy, I wear diapers about every second night, but don't sleep in them, I also wear sometimes in the day. I use them to poop and pee in. Lately I have been having the urge too pee and poop a lot. Mostly pee. Am I becoming incontinent? Should I see a doctor? Is there any way this could be serious and have nothing to do with me wearing diapers?

A:

Dear Brett,

I am not entirely sure what is going on. However I do know that if you use diapers all the time your body learns to start to depend on them and yes it is possible to lose control. You should go to a doctor and have it checked out. I always recommend this anyway. If it is related to you wearing diapers then you would have to cut back on wearing time to regain the control you have lost. Good luck.

Question Asked By: Jerry
Age: 23

Q:

I wet the bed just about every night and the last two nights my skin has been very chafed in the morning. I didn't mean to, but last night I pooped in my pants and then fell asleep and I really have a bad diaper rash. I have tried using baby powder and have also tried desitin. Anything out there that works better?

A:

Dear Jerry,

You are in a world of hurt and I have just the thing for you. Balmex. Desitin is a great product but in my opinion Balmex works better. It is good for various skin conditions, not just for rashes. Apply the balmex and rub into the affected areas. You will have relief almost immediately and within 24 hours the rash will be mostly if not totally gone. From now on you have to be very vigilant about changing. Perhaps use the balmex lightly as a protectant from now on, just to be safe. Heal fast.

Question Asked By: Eric Grant
Age: 33

Q:

How can I find a daddy that I can be with

A:

Dear Eric,

It can be difficult to find the right person. We have a mommy/daddy finder that you can check and see if there is anyone in your area. Even contacting someone nearby who can give you a referral can sometimes help. You need to contact the persons and see who seems to click with you. I wish you luck in your search.

How can I become totally incontinent both wetting and pooping at all time and can it be made to be permanent.

A:

Dear John,

I do know of a program that will have you ,forgive me, pooping and peeing in no time. It is a safe program that is reversible and non-harmful. I know of one member who was incontinent within a week using the program. The link is http://www.deeker.com/Articles/twelve

Question Asked By: Kendra
Age: 16

Q:

Hi mommy,

My mom and I have been following your web site for a long time. my mom uses it as guide to my diapering quite a bit and we have written in to you in the past. I am a teen girl who has been in diapers my whole life. Its not just a part time thing or phase I am going through. both my mom and myself have discussed this in great lengths and she not only accepts it but we both have known it is just normal for me to be diapered. I now wet in my diaper at night with out knowing I did till I wake in the morning and my mom changes me. That brings up my question that we both desperately hope you can help. I sleep in a footed sleeper that zips from the ankle to my chin. My mom said said when I was a toddler I had a similar sleeper that had snaps all the way up both legs to make it so much easier to change me. well we have looked everywhere and can't find them in my size. Any suggestions on who might make them custom or not? thank you we love you,
Kendra and Mom

A:

Dear Kendra,

I am so glad that you and your mom can find some valuable info on our site. You and your mom are two of the reasons we do this every month- to help. As for your question I have heard of a company called Specially for you http://www.speciallyforyou.net/sfynight.html Now they do some customization. You might need to contact them on the specifics. They have an excellent record- quality work and deliver fast. Another option is a company called forever a kid http://www.foreverakid.com/productlist.html they also have several options and have a good reputation. Check them both out. Good luck.

Question Asked By: Becky
Age: 18

Q:

Hi mommy

I got in trouble with the law 2 years ago when I was 16 and my parents diaper punished me, until I could be trusted again. 2 year on they still diaper me 24/7 everywhere we go, to the mall, to the supermarket, etc. My mum will check my diapers whenever there is a lot of people about and change me there and then if I'm wet. At home I can only wear diapers T-shirts so my parents can see when I'm wet or messy. when the time before I go to bed my dad spanks 18 times on each cheeks and put 2 suppositories in my bum before putting my night time diapers on so by morning I will be wet and messy.

A:

Dear Becky,

You are of legal age, 18 and you have rights. Your parents are wrong for what they are doing. Their actions are breaking quite a few laws. To forcibly diaper you and parade you around is wrong. The insertion of suppositories is not only wrong but can do physical harm to you. Over use of them can cause you to lose control of your bowels. You need to speak with them and say you are sorry for what you did. Point out to them that it has been YEARS since then. You have changed and they need to give you a chance to prove yourself to them, diaper-free. I wish you luck.

Question Asked By: Mona
Age: 15

Q:

Hi Mummy

My mum caught me playing with myself, now she is punishing me with diapers and baby things. First she spanked my bottom until I cried like a baby then diapered me and treating me like a baby 24/7. She puts on me underage clothes that would show of my diaper out in public and if I'm wet she would take me to the restroom and change me. At each bedtime before she diapers me she would lecture me on why I cant play with myself while giving me a spanking. how can you help me?

A:

Dear Mona,

Your mother is from the old school way of thinking. There is nothing wrong with sexual exploration of your own body. But there are some who believe it to be bad.Either way she is wrong for diapering you and spanking you repeatedly for one offense. When will her 'punishment' end? If you feel safe to do so, ask her how long she intends on doing this. My heart goes out to you. You are caught between a rock and a hard place. Be strong and know we are rooting for you.

Question Asked By: Lock Me Away 4 Life
Age: 44

Q:

I'm a diaper lover but only allowed to wet in diapers. I would like to know how I could be institualized and made to use diapers for both?. I have cp and nosey hands so they'd also need to be locked on, never coming off but to be changed. Is there anywhere in the united states that could provide such a thing?

A:

Dear locked away 4 life,

I can appreciate what you are looking for. Unfortunately I do not know of any facility that would lock you that way. Diaper you, yes but to lock also is rare. I will continue to check and if I find anywhere I will do a post on it.

Question Asked By: Etienne
Age: 12

Q:

Mommy thanks for everything and I wanted to ask what does a diaper rash feel like and how do I get rid of it without my parents knowing? And if I call a real babysitter and tell them to treat me as a baby is it ok?

A:

Dear Etienne,

You do not want a diaper rash. It is basically an acid burn from the urine. There is redness and a burning stinging feeling. It is painful. You would need to use a product like Balmex or Desitin to clear it up. Just rub it in and you should see relief soon. A real babysitter might question why an older child needs a babysitter and to ask to be treated like a baby would not be understood. It is best to not try that situation. If you want a sitter you would need an AB sitter, which you probably would not be able to pay for. So for the meantime just do what you can and things will be your way one day. Good luck.
